I was getting an error trying to purchase something using PayPal:
“Sorry — your last action could not be completed”
I thought it was their buy link, but I tried using one of my own links, got the same error.
Ah, probably the settings in my browser, or there’s a problem with the PP site.
In Firefox, if you delete cookies (a good idea periodically, for security), the site gets set to “disable cookies”. It’s a good default behavior, but does cause occasional problems.
Here’s how to enable cookies for a site, in Firefox (I have version 8):
- Click on the icon left of the browser URL (when you’re on Google.com, shows the Google “g”, when on PayPal.com, shows “PayPal, Inc. (US)”).
- Click “More Information”
- Click on Permissions at the top of the Page Info window that pops up.
- In the Set Cookies line, select “Allow for Session”.
